Over the course of a half-day eMAP marketing plan workshop you will develop a complete Marketing Action Plan for your business. They’re marketing action plans, not bottom-drawer stuffers.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll know exactly where you’re going and how to get there.
We use a ‘completely exhaustive, progressively implemented‘ approach to…
- Identify every marketing action required to grow your business, and
- Prioritise the projects and flesh out the strategies required to implement the highest priority projects straight away.
Lower priority projects are tackled once you have successfully implemented the top-priority projects.
This practical approach means you don’t throw lots of money at a grand marketing plan that might not work.
That’s what we call a “bold strategy / bold implementation” approach… which is also known as Russian roulette!
Instead, we recommend a bold strategy backed up with a cautious approach to implementation. Each step is a small one, which allows you to progressively build on success.
“What I liked about the planning session was the way the huge task is broken down into bite-size bits but the sum of the parts is huge. I like that you ‘get’ what we need to achieve and quickly steer us in the right direction.”
Practical and visual marketing plan
Not only is your eMAP a very practical marketing plan, it is highly visual too. The whole marketing plan is summarised on one ‘visual’ page. This gives you an instant overview and constant reminder of what needs doing.
Subsequent pages are devoted to the strategies required for you to implement each component of the marketing plan.
“It put what we considered a complex set of objectives into a very understandable and digestible, visual format. We liked the MECE (mutually exclusive, completely exhaustive) approach, and good templates that we can utilise in other parts of what we do. It was a great opportunity to sit back and look at the overall picture (something we rarely give ourselves the opportunity to do). Extremely helpful to have some real examples from you, based on insights won from experience. Overall a great day, well worth our time and money. Thanks!”
After the planning session we pull everything together and further develop the marketing plan. Seven days later we run through the completed eMAP with you.
“I liked that it was an away-from-distractions out’n’out planning session. This is not something we have spent enough time on in the past. Clear, concise system to follow. You managed the session well by illustrating topics with examples and by switching to a fresh topic when we were struggling, then returning to the original later. The process worked well for me with ‘what are we planning to achieve’ followed by ‘what actions will we take to get there’. I really enjoyed the day.”
Your total investment for an eMAP Marketing Action Plan is $2,500.
We will most likely give you some homework prior to the eMAP session, which will form input on the day.
Be prepared for hard but fulfilling work!
“It was a fantastic session, well structured and had a good balance of formal and informal elements. We found the visual presentation of the plan helpful and the critical thinking and advice behind it informative and eye opening.”
Marketing plan implementation
What we won’t do is leave you in the lurch after the planning is done. We get more of a buzz out of seeing you get results. That’s why we follow through with the all-important implementation and help you in whichever areas you need our input.

More client feedback…
“I learned so much during the planning session loved the fact that I was involved in it so that I could ensure everything was in line with my vision for the business. I sort of knew a lot of the things that I needed to do, so to have it all planned out and prioritised really helped me with something that is overwhelming! You are very thorough and I love that. I know that you really want constructive criticism too but I don’t have any I’m afraid. I’m a very happy customer and will be back.”
– Denise Ferguson, Yoga Sanctuary Ltd
“The planning session was really helpful, thank you! I felt as though you had really listened and had a good understanding of my business needs, and you both came up with some really good suggestions and solutions based on your obvious years of experience. Love that you had a really good systematic way of making sense of the flowing conversations. Best of all was the easy to follow plan at the end.”
– Lucy Sanderson-Gammon, Luminous Consulting Ltd
“A big thank you for developing the eMAP for my client. I think he will find it very useful over the coming months and years. Certainly I enjoy working with both of you. You are wonderful and genuine people with good marketing knowledge and experience.”
– Brian Taylor, business coach
“The planning session gave us greater focus over our business trajectory (where we wanted to go and what we needed to do to get there). After this meeting we realised that we had been 80 per cent winging it. Yes, we’ve had a bit of luck, support from some very clever and creative people… but marketing is specialist field – you’ve either got this set of expertise or you don’t. I am quite clear now – we didn’t have it. But, with the eMAP I can see the way forward… one step at a time!”
– Tess Moeke-Maxwell
“I really liked the amount of preparation and planning that you had both gone to leading into the event. It was extremely valuable to have your ‘outsiders, unattached and fresh’ perspective, to dissect our marketing plan and approach.
Everything you suggested seemed spot on, and created a high level of trust. It’s obvious that you two know what you’re doing, and are offering relevant online and offline solutions based on years of experience and practice (which we have found to be rare).
I also liked how you controlled the direction and flow of the session, but didn’t dictate the outcomes which were very much for our team to create and fill in the gaps, which we found empowering.
We experienced an invaluable planning session and structure that we will use in future. It was very clarifying to see everything we need to action on one board, and then prioritised into actionable steps, so it doesn’t become overwhelming and feels achievable.
This session will truly help us move forward as a business, so your guidance through this session and the plan you’ve created following the session is most appreciated.”
– Steve Davidson, BePURE
“It provided a structured approach to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for my business. I now have a clear idea of the overall strategy, the key thrust areas and action plan within those areas, all within specified time ranges. Moreover, it’s given me the focus I need to work on the important things that matter first. For us it was a pleasure working through all of this with Brandon and Amanda in a relaxed and friendly manner.”
– Nakul Riswadkar, Better Outcomes Now Ltd
“The project focussed nature of the eMAP model makes it feel achievable and outcome based. It was was easy for everyone to understand, no marketing waffle, not laborious. I liked the ability to move projects around to determine where they best fit and how they should be ranked. Evolve already understood how the BID (Business Improvement District) model works, plus they were familiar with various town centres so we didn’t waste time.”
“Your understanding and thoroughness in putting together an effective marketing plan through a very approachable and easily understandable format was great. Your easy yet very professional attitude kept us at ease. In the entire process not once did we feel that we were a start-up venture, you guys have such positivity. Coming from a similar work background, I felt I could relate to your professional approach, your knowledge and eye for detail. Let me just conclude by saying, by having right professionals with the amount of understanding and exposure, any business can work wonders. Glad to have you & Amanda on board!”
“What I liked:
- structure and having something concrete to move forward with
- strategic focus
- format encouraged discussion amongst ourselves and provided us the ability to challenge our thinking
- your gentle guidance 🙂
- your stories highlighting your experience
- ability to move thrusts around as the context and thinking developed.
It was a great session. Look forward to future ones!”
