We were approached in 2004 by a very smart MBA executive who had spotted a niche in supplying commercial laundry services to aged care operators. The intention was to build and stabilise this business, with an eye to then expand into consumer services.
The original company name was Laundry Fresh Systems Ltd, but we didn’t think that cut the mustard. So we created the brand name Dirty Business and tagline “We Love To Launder”, and partnered it with a uniquely distinctive logo that infused common laundry symbols with a fun personality that played on gangsterism and money laundering.
