Public Relations

The key to high profile publicity is newsworthiness. However, unless you are lucky enough to have on your staff someone with a journalistic background, it will be next to impossible to identify possible news angles. It needs an outside observer with an astute eye on the market to determine what will be of interest to the media and ensure your story is told.

In order to maximise opportunities for publicity, every story needs to be told well. Evolve is particularly skilled at finding the right words to convey the correct sentiments to the appropriate publication to reach your target audience.

Evolve's public relations service encompasses all aspects of the public relations process. This includes but is not limited to writing copy for specialist publications, media releases, distribution of material to appropriate outlets and advising a company spokesperson on correct interviewing techniques.

Examples of recent projects...

Crackerjack Kids

A desire to boost the brainpower of preschoolers saw an Auckland lawyer launch her own children's wear business - with an educational twist. To support the relaunch of Crackerjack Kids' website business, and as part of a coordinated publicity campaign, we succeeded in having a feature article published in the New Zealand Herald. The website recorded a record number of visitors on the day the article was published, and "great personal feedback from the article" according to Mary Whaley.

Wholeoranges Consulting

To support the launch of Wholeoranges' new CV lie detection service - the Career Verification Check - we had a feature article published in the business section of The New Zealand Herald. "Your passion, knowledge and expertise helped instil great confidence in the PR campaign being devised. You listened and worked within my budget requirements. You delivered and so far have come up with two great results." - Therese McNaughten, Wholeoranges Consulting

Techtorium

Our PR programme for Techtorium generated feature articles in The New Zealand Herald, The Dominion Post's InfoTech Weekly, and ComputerWorld magazine.

Lucy Foster

Former Aucklander Lucy Foster returned home for Christmas hoping to find some innovative New Zealand products to promote back in the United States. Our article for her was published in The New Zealand Herald and drew approaches from 13 interested companies.
